Habitat for Humanity Strawberry Festival

2020 Entertainment/Things To See

Meet the fearless and soulful Florida-based songstress Selkii.

Selkii not only just made The Top 24 of NBC's The Voice under Blake Shelton's mentor ship -but she was also a top 7 finalist on the South African version of American Idol - South African Idol back in 2010. Her version of IRIS by The Goo Goo Dolls for the Top 24 made it to  # 86 in iTunes' Alternative category on Apple Music Charts in the USA in May 2019.

Selkii is a Live-Looping-Singer-Guitarist & Songwriter hailing from South Africa’s Beach City, Durban. She's often been called a female version of Jack Johnson or Jason Mraz - with a powerful raspy voice that often gets compared with Brandi Carlile & Tracey Chapman. Her impressive looping pedal skills allow her to bring guitar percussion & cool sonic layers of backing vocals & riffs into her live arrangements.

Selkii refers to her music as 'Tropical' Folk.

Selkii's love for adventure & the ocean come through her narrative & thoughtful lyrics & her hypnotic soulful voice has a reputation for stopping people cold in their tracks.

Noah Hunton

My name is Noah Hunton, I’m a 21 year old  country singer, songwriter from Ocala Florida. I started singing when I was young and was hooked ever since. I started singing and writing country music through middle school & high school. I have never had any vocal lessons or guitar lessons; I guess you can say it’s a natural born gift from God. Now I have had amazing opportunity’s to opened up for Craig Campbell, Brandon Heath, The band Hinder, also Charlie Farley and more. I love what I do and love to bring smiles to everyone’s faces with my music. I aspire to one day to perform at the Grand Ole Opry.

Presley Lawson

Presley is a recent graduate of Crystal River High School and a Central Florida Native.  She grew up on the road with alongside recording artists watching and listening to their music.  She sang the National Anthem for the Houston Astros at the age of 12 and knew at that moment that performing is what she wanted to do.  Presley is influenced by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carole King, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, Garth Brooks and Jeff Bates.  She is inspired by music artists like R5, Ed Sheeran, Allie Colleen, Shawn Mendes and Miranda Lambert.  Presley has her own unique style and vocals, melding the pop and country genre to create her own sound. She is a songwriting member of BMI and working on her first album.
