Where does Habitat for Humanity of Marion County, Inc. get its funding?
Funding comes from individual / corporate gifts and pledges, groups, churches and fund raising events. "In-kind" donations of goods and services are also encouraged to defray the cost of construction. All funds are raised locally. HFHMC will accept assistance from the government for infrastructure needs, administration and acquisition of property as long as the funds have no strings attached that would limit its ability to proclaim its Christian witness.
